So as many of you know, I recently purchased a Nikon D80. a mid range pro-sumer camera. From day one I was impressed by the quality of pictures, the ease, the user-friendliness, and the comfort.
I purchased some extras for it as well. I have a vertical grip, extra batteries, more lenses, remote, bag, etc. and now I'm looking at a few other extras.
I"m torn between two flashes, the SB600 and the SB 800. Obviously the 800 is better but it's in some cases double the price. Now do I really need all that flash for my camera? After all I didn't buy the D300 because it was too much camera for me.
But the real kicker lies in the bag.
there is one questions you must alway ask yourself before you buy any camera equipment. I mean anything at all, the question is, what do you want to take pictures of? Obviously if I want to take pictures of sunsets, a zoom lense would probably be more fluff than needed. If I wan to take pictures of sporting events from the furthest part of the stadium, a flash would be useless.
And than there's me. I want to take pictures of everything and anything.
But right now I'm focused more on how to take my camera to new places.
This past week I've been searching for a Camera bag that is both a backpack and has a place for a hydration blatter. and you know what I've found? not a whole lot. I found one that was somewhere in the 500 dollar range, and another that some lady made on her sewing machine that looked more like gay kid pants than a real camera bag.
So the search is on.

Umm...your new banner looks cool and all...but can you spot the grammatical error?
As for the camera bag issue: Buy a Camelback Pack, wrap the camera in a sweatshirt. Boom...you are on your way:)
I'll let you know if I see any REAL camera bags that suit your need.
hee hee, yeah I'm not good at spelling or checking my own work.
I was thinking of modefing a camelback but for the time being I'll keep looking.

Have you ever thought of adding my blog to your links...just a thought!
Good luck with your search!
